Meet Fred Clayton

I am the proud Christian father of three kids. I’m the proud son of a single, hardworking mother. I have lived in Gwinnet, Georgia for 30+ years. I am the CEO of FTC Improvements, a home improvement company. Previously in my life, I’ve been a small business owner working in the service and retail industry.

Safer Schools.

You shouldn’t have to be afraid when you send your kid to school. You should never wonder if this is the day that your child doesn’t come home.

There’s an increase in school violence over the past few years and we need to address and solve that issue. Our kids need to feel safe in the class room, halls, buses and locker rooms.

Safer neighboorhoods.

On a simple level, it means no gangs or street racing,. It means minimizing illegal immigration. It means people feeling safe again in their community.

Safer neighboorhoods means having a police force that people trust. And we can only do that by strengthening community and law enforcement connections. My sister is a police officer so I understand both sides. I back the blue. Home owners over squatters.

Lower taxes.

It means giving a break to regular people. I want to focus on lowering property tax so mortgage payments will be lower. Lower property taxes mean lower mortgages means more money to spend on groceries and to pay other bills.

I’d cut gas tax. Our GA government ended up with a surplus of taxes after almost half of last year of no gas taxes.

I say let’s make some cuts. Lowering these two taxes would help everyday life. You’ll always have to buy gas and you’ll always have to pay your mortgage.
